I literally just put this bed down for my dog and so far, he loves it. This one looks just like the picture. I have a miniature dachshund who loves to burrow and that is exactly what he's doing. He doesn't look like he's coming out of it anytime soon! It does lean back slightly like it could tip over when he's at the very back, but he doesn't seem to mind. I guess now we just wait and see how it holds up.
Not the same quality as the bed I purchased 2 years ago

Couldn't believe this was the same bed I purchased for my chihuhua several years ago. There was nearly no stuffing (cushioning), and the bed was nearly completely flat. The plushness of the faux sheepskin was cheap and flimsy -- holes will be worn through the fabric in no time flat.

Wanted to send it back, but return shipping is too expensive. Will purchase a bag of pillow-fill from the fabric store, and try to plump it up and have it look like and feel like the old bed. I was crushed (so was the pet bed)!

Just when you find a great product, they have to mess it up. If a negative 5-star rating were available, that would be the appropriate rating for the once-well made pet bed.

Next time, will go directly into the pet store. Will never buy a pet bed online again.

Live and learn, I guess.

I purchased the burrow bed because my shih tzu was always trying to dig him a spot in the corner of my couch with blankets...he didn't use the bed when I first got it for him and doesn't 'burrow' like I thought he would - but he does lay on it. My other shih tzu who wasn't a burrower, has now made use of the burrowing part and enjoys napping in it...who knew?! I put the bed up against the corner because it seems like it tilts backwards a little bit.

Best gift I have ever gotten for my Chihuahua baby Sammy. He loves it, on cold winter days or on days the air conditioner's up high he just burrows in and sleeps.I would recommend this product for anyone with a pet.

My 10 lb toy fox terrier loves to burrow under things, especially in the winter. When I took it out of the box, he immediately went crazy for it. I can move it anywhere in the house, and he will burrow inside. I love the fact that you can reach in and unzip it before throwing it in the wash. I would definitely recommend it. It also fits into his small sized crate snugly.
