It turned out to be a little to big for my 11 month old (80 lb) boxer, but he loves the bed so much that I gave it a 5 star. He sleeps, chews on bones, and rolls around in it all the time. The best thing is, is he hardly ever trys to join us on the couch anymore :) Would recommend this product to anyone!

I have two large dogs. One of our dogs has been with us for 7 years and she was grossly spoiled having been a rescued dog- she sleeps on our couches. Our new addition is a 5 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback who I bought a memory form doggy bed. I decided to buy the Bagel Donut Dog Bed for the older dog hoping she would sleep in it over the couches. She has prefered this bed. The only problem is so does the Ridgeback- and he has pushed the older dog out of her bed. The first day I received the bed my 3 year old nephew decided he was going to sleep in it and I had to keep getting up in the night to put him in his own bed!

I bought this for my Newfoundland but before he even had a chance to check it out my other dogs (labs) were curled up on this - two of them can fit in it or one really stretched out. It was funny how they just immediately jumped into it and claimed it. I do wish the cover was removable for washing as large dogs = lots of dirt and taking this to a laundromat (it is really big) is possible but a real hassle. Quality seems good and no one has tried chewing anything.
